Barcelona has a host of attractions, including preserving a medieval street plan in the center of the city; an impressive modernist architecture that includes buildings such as Gaudí, the Sagrada Familia, dozens of museums, one dedicated to Picasso, another to Miró and another to the world-famous city soccer club, FC Barcelona or better known as Barça!
Barcelona is as active at night as it is during the day and has a unique and exciting atmosphere, providing the visitor with a truly unforgettable experience.
There are two major art festivals during the year, one in July (El Grec) and the other in September (la Merçè), where concerts and shows of different kinds are held all the time.
The city enjoys an almost perfect climate making it an ideal place to visit and enjoy at any time of the year. It even has its own sandy beaches, which are only 35 minutes from our school!
The geographical position of the city also makes it the easiest (and cheapest) Spanish city to travel from the rest of Europe, and there are direct flights from most cities in the world to its award-winning international airport.
If you are taking a Spanish course with us, our social program includes trips that will take you to some of the most famous places in and around Barcelona, as well as some places that are completely out of the ordinary.
